Unter dem Motto "Solidarity for the women and girls of Afghanistan - for Justice, Dignity, Equality & Freedom" rufen afghanische (Exil-)Organisationen zu einer Großdemonstration am Jahrestag der Taliban-Machtübernahme auf. Neben Exil-Politiker:innen und NGO-Aktivist:innen wird bei dieser Veranstaltung unter anderem auch die in Afghanistan sehr bekannte Sängerin Ariana Saeed erwartet.
Auch aus Tübingen wird eine (voraussichtlich kleine) Delegation zu dieser Demonstration fahren. Interessierte Mitfahrer:innen melden sich bitte bei sof@menschen-rechte-tue.org.

You are warmly invited to join us on August 15, 2026, for a peaceful Solidarity Gathering in support of the women and girls of Afghanistan, taking place outside the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva. Together, let us remind the world that the women and girls of Afghanistan must not be forgotten. Their struggle for justice, dignity, equality, the right to education, and freedom continues, and our collective voice can make a difference.
